This Shipping Policy (the “Policy”) applies to physical merchandise purchased directly from Trading Card Cache LLC, doing business as TC Cache (“TC Cache,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through tccache.com. It should be read together with the TC Cache Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Returns & Refunds Policy, and any product-specific shipping notice presented before purchase.
Capitalized terms not defined in this document have the meanings given in the TC Cache Terms and Conditions.
1. Introduction and Scope
This Policy applies to physical orders shipped by or on behalf of TC Cache. Available shipping methods, prices, tracking capabilities, and delivery estimates may depend on the products in the order, quantity, merchandise value, package characteristics, destination, carrier availability, and the shipping profiles configured for the applicable merchandise.
The shipping options and charges actually displayed at checkout control for the applicable order, subject to correction of a material technical or pricing error under the Terms and Conditions.
2. Processing and Shipment Timing
TC Cache will make reasonable efforts to prepare and ship orders within any processing or shipment timeframe clearly displayed or communicated for the applicable transaction.
A statement that an order “ships” within a period refers to TC Cache placing the merchandise in the possession of the carrier, not to the date the carrier ultimately delivers the order.
If TC Cache does not state a specific shipment timeframe, TC Cache will maintain a reasonable basis for expecting shipment within the period required by applicable law. Under the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, sellers generally must have a reasonable basis to ship within a stated timeframe or, if no timeframe is stated, within 30 days.
Orders may require additional reasonable processing time because of fraud review, address problems, payment issues, custom assembly, large or unusual orders, carrier interruptions, safety concerns, or other legitimate fulfillment circumstances. Any delay remains subject to applicable legal notice, consent, cancellation, and refund requirements.
Back to top3. Shipping Methods and Eligibility
TC Cache may offer one or more shipping methods at checkout, including Economy letter shipping, tracked package services, expedited services, promotional free shipping, or other services that become available.
Not every method is available for every order. Eligibility may depend on factors including:
- merchandise value;
- item type and quantity;
- weight, thickness, and dimensions;
- whether the cart contains sealed or package-sized merchandise;
- destination;
- carrier requirements;
- insurance or tracking needs; and
- the shipping profile assigned to the merchandise.
If an Economy-eligible cart no longer satisfies the applicable quantity, value, or physical requirements, TC Cache may automatically move the order to an eligible package-shipping method before payment.
Back to top4. Economy Letter Shipping
Certain qualifying low-value trading-card orders may be eligible for TC Cache Economy Shipping when that option is displayed at checkout.
Economy shipments may use letter-mail or another service with tracking characteristics that differ substantially from ordinary package tracking. Depending on the service, tracking or delivery information may:
- be based in whole or in part on automated mail-processing scans;
- show fewer events than package tracking;
- lack a conventional carrier acceptance scan;
- lack continuous point-to-point scans;
- lack a doorstep or mailbox delivery scan;
- update after the physical mailpiece has moved; or
- remain incomplete even when the mailpiece is delivered successfully.
A tracking number or tracking-style identifier for an Economy shipment does not mean the shipment provides the same scan history, insurance, delivery confirmation, or claims process as Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Express, or another package service.
5. Package and Tracked Shipping
Orders containing sealed products, larger merchandise, higher-value merchandise, or products assigned to package shipping may be shipped using USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Express, or another package service available to TC Cache.
Package-level tracking generally provides more carrier scans than Economy letter shipping, but TC Cache does not control when the carrier scans a package or how quickly the carrier publishes tracking events.
Carrier-provided insurance, included coverage, signature services, delivery guarantees, and claims procedures vary by service and are governed by the carrier's applicable terms in addition to this Policy.
Back to top6. Shipping Charges and Honest Pricing
The shipping charge displayed at checkout is the amount the customer agrees to pay for the shipping method selected for that transaction, unless a material technical or pricing error is identified before acceptance as permitted by the Terms and Conditions.
Shipping charges may reflect reasonable postage or carriage costs that TC Cache expects to incur to ship the physical merchandise. TC Cache may also offer free or discounted shipping for qualifying transactions.
For TC Cache Flat Ground, a qualifying package must have an estimated packed weight of no more than 5 lb and an estimated packed volume of no more than 1 cubic foot. TC Cache estimates the shipping box from the physical dimensions and quantities of the items in the cart and the package sizes TC Cache has configured for fulfillment. Orders that require more than 1 cubic foot of packed space, exceed 5 lb, or otherwise fall outside the program are rated separately.
Flat Ground pricing is a TC Cache customer-pricing program rather than a representation that the carrier charges the same amount for every shipment. TC Cache may absorb ordinary differences in carrier cost between destinations. If the estimated carrier cost for a qualifying shipment materially exceeds the standard flat rate because of delivery distance or package characteristics, checkout may apply a disclosed shipping adjustment before the customer places the order.
TC Cache will not intentionally disguise a mandatory business or handling fee as “shipping” where applicable law requires that fee to be included in the advertised merchandise price. For example, California's Honest Pricing Law permits reasonable shipping costs for physical goods to be excluded from the advertised merchandise price but does not permit a mandatory handling charge to be excluded in the same manner.
Optional upgraded shipping services may cost more than the least expensive eligible method.
Back to top7. Shipping Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address before placing an order, including the recipient name, street address, apartment or unit where applicable, city, state, ZIP Code, and any other information reasonably necessary for delivery.
TC Cache may use third-party address-validation tools to identify possible errors or standardize an address. Address validation is a convenience and does not guarantee successful delivery.
TC Cache may contact the customer, hold fulfillment, or cancel and refund an affected order if an address appears incomplete, invalid, inconsistent, undeliverable, or raises a reasonable fraud or security concern.
Back to top8. Address Changes After Purchase
If you notice an address error after placing an order, contact TC Cache as soon as possible. TC Cache cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after the order has entered fulfillment, a label has been created, or the shipment has been tendered to the carrier.
For fraud-prevention reasons, TC Cache may decline to redirect an order to a materially different destination than the address associated with the accepted transaction. If a requested address change cannot be completed safely or reliably, TC Cache may cancel and refund the order where appropriate instead of redirecting it.
A customer should not rely on an email or support request alone as proof that a shipping address was successfully changed. TC Cache will confirm a material address correction when the change has actually been made.
Back to top9. Returned-to-Sender Orders
If merchandise is returned to TC Cache because of an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address, refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve or accept a shipment, an invalid destination, or another customer-caused delivery issue, TC Cache may contact the customer to determine whether lawful reshipment or refund is appropriate.
TC Cache may require the customer to pay reasonable additional shipping costs before reshipping merchandise when the return resulted from the customer's address or delivery error.
Where a refund is appropriate, TC Cache may deduct nonrefundable shipping costs actually incurred to the extent permitted by law and the circumstances of the transaction. This does not apply where the return resulted from TC Cache's own fulfillment or addressing error.
Back to top10. Tracking Information
TC Cache provides tracking or shipment information when supported by the selected shipping method and available to TC Cache.
Tracking may occasionally:
- appear before the carrier physically receives the shipment;
- update late or out of sequence;
- skip intermediate scans;
- display an estimated delivery date that later changes;
- show delivery shortly before or after actual placement; or
- contain incomplete information because of the carrier's scanning process.
Tracking data comes from the applicable carrier or shipping provider. TC Cache may display or relay that data but does not independently create the carrier's scan events.
Back to top11. Delivery Estimates and Carrier Delays
Unless a shipping service is expressly sold with a carrier-backed guaranteed delivery commitment, delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.
Carrier transit can be affected by weather, holidays, transportation interruptions, carrier congestion, local delivery conditions, labor disruptions, natural disasters, government action, incorrect carrier scans, and other circumstances outside TC Cache's reasonable control.
A carrier delay that occurs after TC Cache has properly tendered the shipment to the carrier is different from TC Cache failing to ship merchandise within a promised shipment timeframe. TC Cache will nevertheless provide reasonable assistance with carrier issues consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
Back to top12. TC Cache Shipping Delays
If TC Cache determines that it cannot ship an order within a shipment timeframe promised by TC Cache, TC Cache will provide the notices, delay options, cancellation rights, and refunds required by applicable law.
For orders governed by the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, this may require TC Cache to notify the customer of the delay and provide a choice between consenting to an appropriate revised shipment timeframe and cancelling for a prompt refund of the unshipped merchandise.
Where applicable law requires a refund rather than store credit, TC Cache will not substitute store credit for that required refund without the customer's lawful agreement.
Back to top13. Lost or Missing Shipments
If an order appears lost or materially overdue, contact TC Cache so the shipment can be reviewed.
Depending on the shipping method and circumstances, TC Cache may:
- review carrier or provider tracking;
- confirm the destination address;
- allow a reasonable period for delayed scans or mail processing;
- initiate a carrier inquiry or missing-mail search;
- submit or assist with an available insurance or carrier claim;
- replace merchandise where appropriate and inventory permits; or
- issue a refund where required or otherwise appropriate.
Different shipping services have different standards and evidence for determining when a shipment is lost. An Economy letter should not automatically be treated as lost solely because it lacks the same scan history expected from a package service.
Nothing in this section eliminates a refund, billing-dispute, or other consumer right that applicable law makes non-waivable.
Back to top14. Packages Marked Delivered
If carrier tracking shows a shipment as delivered but you cannot locate it, first confirm the shipping address and reasonably check the delivery area, mailbox or parcel location, household members, and other likely delivery locations.
Carrier systems can occasionally post delivery events early, late, or imprecisely. If the shipment remains missing, contact TC Cache.
TC Cache may review the carrier record, request reasonable supporting information, contact the carrier, or pursue an available claim before determining an appropriate remedy. A “Delivered” scan is relevant evidence but does not prevent TC Cache from considering credible evidence that a delivery problem occurred.
Back to top15. Shipping Damage
If merchandise arrives materially damaged because of shipping, contact TC Cache promptly and retain the merchandise, product packaging, shipping container, label, cushioning or packing materials, and photographs of the condition where reasonably possible.
Those materials may be necessary to document the damage, evaluate whether the product itself was materially affected, or pursue a carrier or insurance claim.
Do not discard material evidence of shipping damage before TC Cache has had a reasonable opportunity to review it unless keeping the material would create a safety concern.
Shipping damage claims and returns remain subject to the Returns & Refunds Policy and non-waivable consumer rights.
Back to top16. Partial Orders and Multiple Shipments
TC Cache may split an order into more than one shipment when reasonably necessary because of packaging, inventory location, product size, carrier requirements, or other fulfillment needs.
If TC Cache chooses to split an order for its own operational reasons, the customer will not be charged an additional shipping amount beyond the amount agreed at checkout unless the customer separately requests and agrees to an upgraded or changed service.
Separate portions of an order may receive different tracking numbers and may arrive on different days.
Back to top17. Risk of Loss and Customer Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to shift risk of loss, disclaim delivery responsibility, or limit a refund or replacement right in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
Carrier tracking, acceptance records, delivery records, shipping insurance, customer-provided address information, and other evidence may be considered when determining what occurred with a shipment.
TC Cache's use of a third-party carrier does not eliminate obligations that applicable consumer law places on TC Cache as the seller.
Back to top18. International Shipping
Unless international shipping is expressly offered at checkout, TC Cache does not represent that merchandise can be shipped to destinations outside the United States.
If international shipping is introduced, additional terms or disclosures may address customs duties, import taxes, brokerage, destination-country restrictions, customs delays, prohibited merchandise, return logistics, and the customer's responsibility for information needed for lawful importation.
TC Cache may restrict destinations or merchandise when shipment would violate applicable law, carrier rules, manufacturer restrictions, or practical fulfillment requirements.
Back to top19. Promotional and Prize Fulfillment
Shipping of a promotional thank-you gift, Collector prize, or other promotional item may be governed by the applicable promotion's Official Rules, Fully Loaded terms, Consumer Disclosure, or other program-specific rules.
Where TC Cache's published program rules state that TC Cache pays shipping for a gift or prize, the recipient will not be charged shipping or handling to receive that item.
Program-specific rules may permit TC Cache to choose the carrier, service, packaging, insurance, or tracking method and may contain additional procedures for address verification, unclaimed items, damage, or carrier claims.
Back to top20. Changes to Shipping Services and This Policy
TC Cache may add, remove, rename, restrict, or change shipping methods, eligibility thresholds, carriers, packaging, and rates for future transactions.
Changes to future shipping options do not retroactively increase the shipping amount for an already accepted order unless the customer requests and agrees to a change or applicable law permits an adjustment.
TC Cache may update this Policy as fulfillment practices, carriers, technology, or law change. The Version, Effective Date, and Last Updated date will identify the applicable version. Historical versions should be retained as part of TC Cache's legal-record system.
